Leonardo Salicari
A friendly frego
Playing with bolas in Portonovo's beach
I am Leonardo Salicari, I am from Perugia (you might know that for the chocolate or the jazz), where I got my my bachelor’s degree in Physics. Then, I’ve moved to Padua for a master in Physics and to pursuing a Ph.D. in Physics, as well as a carrier as a medieval fencer (I am working on that). Currently, I live in Bologna. I worked on statistical mechanical models of biopolymers and numerical simulations of these (some say that I like proteins). Currently, I am working with supercomputers and High performance computing in the context of Life Science. More info can be found in my curriculum vitae.
If you are interested in my academic carrier you might want to check out the publication page.
As a WIP, I collect topics that interested me in the blog.
I love to play board games, hiking through cool places (from seashores to mountains) and recently took up a Nikon D3300 with an 35 mm (equivalent 52 mm for a full frame) lens and began taking photos of what seems nice. Trying to improve my knowledge about Fiore dei Liberi’s fencing school.
