Leonardo Salicari
A friendly frego
Playing with bolas in Portonovo's beach
I am Leonardo, a physicist working on High Performance Computing (HPC) and Biomolecular systems.
I was born in Perugia (you might have heard of it for the chocolate, the jazz event or its history), where I got my bachelor’s degree in Physics. I continued my studies in Padova for a master degree and a Ph.D. in Physics. Currently, I work in Bologna as HPC software engineer. For more details you can checkout my curriculum vitae or my publication page.
This website tries to aggregate info, interests, ideas and everything that I can put on it. I collect these in a blog for which an RSS feed is available.
Currently, my interests are (in no particular order):
- late medieval fencing and re-enact
- Leather crafting
- High performance molecular dynamics simulations
- Self-hosting
- Taking nice looking photos with a second-hand Nikon D3300 and 35mm Nikon lens
